Aim

  • To skill 5 million people by 2030 across manufacturing and services sectors
  • To establish 50 EEF Institute of Skills across the country by 2030.

Objective

  • To address the need for quality skills training for human resources to complement the large goal of accomplishing the include growth.
  • To address the limited capacity of skill development facilities in India.
  • To develop extensive placement linkages with employers in all sectors to provide gainful entry-justify employment opportunities to youth undergoing the skills training.
  • Industry participation in developing the skill training solution to address critical skill gaps by standardization of training content, delivery and assessment process to improve overall competitiveness of the industry.

Our operations will cover four levels:

  • Education & Training – to meet learner and industry requirements. Where necessary, this may involve working with partners to define these requirements; this will include internationally recognized qualifications.
  • Assessment – undertake third party independent assessment by government approved agency and assessors trained by Sector Skill Council
  • Certification – dual certification of successful trainees – national certificate along with UK certification such that the trainees are available for domestic and international employment opportunity
  • Employment (jobs and entrepreneurship) – with the objective to achieve high levels of placement by trainees on our programs, or programs we support, and provide employees with trained human resources with domain and employability skills for their industry to ensure staff retention.

In addition, we will seek related areas of undertaking, working with public bodies and government to develop policy and deliver program that reflect that policy.
