1. Basic Skills: Pre-Beginner and Beginner (Level A0/A1/A2) (80 Guided Hours of Learning)
A new option for hard-to-reach learners at Pre-Beginner and elementary level. This is a groundbreaking new course for beginners that tackles the challenge of teaching learners who have no prior knowledge of English. The online course enables them to function at an elementary level (A1). The course takes the learners on a journey round the English-speaking world online. It gives them an insight into the sights and sounds of other countries where English is spoken. Frequent games consolidate learning at every stage, scores are captured and learners are given extra practice on the items they had difficulty with. Learners collect coins on the way to buy items they need and spend while touring each country. Authentic conversations are used to introduce the sounds and letters of English. Learners can listen to the audio in a British accent or an international accent. Topics include personal information, local currency, days/months of the year, health, shopping, food, transport and basic numeracy skills.
2. English – Intermediate: (Level B1/B2) (80 Guided Hours of Learning)
This is an online English course for Intermediate Learners, endorsed by the SQA and City & Guilds. The full English Skills diagnostic test for all four language skills is preloaded into this course. Whilst the Reading and Listening is auto-marked, designated mentors mark the Writing and Speaking sections and assign an overall level. The course takes the learners right into the life in the UK by taking them on a tour of the country. They explore the language with over 300 activities and 100 hours of interactive content. Endorsed by City & Guilds and SQA, this course has two units, each with 5 modules to cover “English for Everyday Use” and “English for Work and Study”. Journey 2 English optimizes tutor time through an inbuilt learning management platform to enable progress tracking and paperless diagnostic assessment. It includes an optional diagnostic test of all four language skills where 50% is tutor marked and 50% is auto-marked. Learners can access a range of digital tools – a simple grammar guide, the Oxford Learners’ Dictionary, a Notebook, Voice Recorder, Messaging. All learners who complete the course receive a certificate endorsed by City & Guilds and a Digital Credentials Badge.

4. English – Advanced: (Level C1/C2) (80 Guided Hours of Learning)
We are currently engaged in the development of an advanced course: Journey 2 Advanced English (C1-C2) equating to IELTS 6.0 to 7.5+ This course will also offer test preparation modules for the General IELTS exam and the Academic IELTS exam. This will allow us to offer courses to students preparing for international study and for senior level positions in international corporates. The launch date for this new product is estimated for early 2023. The company is currently in discussion with Language Cert with a view to offering an end-to- end solution which will include comprehensive IELTS preparation (C2 level) and an exam, online or paper-bases leading to the equivalent of IELTS 6.00 to 7.5 and recognized widely by English speaking universities in the UK and beyond.
