Our Board

Regunathan, IAS (Retd) has served in many different government areas, from Finance to Information Technology, and from Animal Husbandry to Tourism. As Education Secretary, he launched the literacy program in 1994 which raised general literacy levels in Delhi by 9%. As Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Chief Secretary, Delhi, he launched the Bhagidari program and the Stree Shakti Program and instituted good governance practices while taking the prime initiative to computerize the entire Delhi government, machinery and introducing online transaction in many departments. Mr. Regunathan was the Advisor to National Knowledge Commission and Vice President of Indian Olympic Association. Mr. Regunathan is President Cannoning Association of India. He is the Chairman of Education for Employment Foundation.

Maj Gen. D K Jamwal, VSM** (Retd) has served in Indian Army for 38 years, possessing strong leadership, administrative and management skills with a proven track record of leading and motivating personnel to become cohesive and effective members of the organization and adopt the dictum “Service Before Self” and “Professional Honesty”.  Ability to manage ‘extreme crisis situations’ by taking critical/logical decisions and leading from the front; in hectic and deadline driven environment. He is ideally suited to impact performance, growth and profitability; by inculcating a spirit of commitment, character and discipline.  Steered one of the largest employment drives in the country by training / employing 1,50,000 personnel including 1600 Trainers and 600 Assessors pan India, as part of Skill Council, under the “National Skills Mission” of India in the last three years; as the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He is the Vice-Chairman of Education for Employment Foundation.

Tejwant S. Chhatwal, PhD is a qualified developmental psychologist and a scholar from Stanford University, specializing in Multiple Intelligence Practice; certified soft skill trainer by Carnegie Mellon University. He has conducted over 7200 workshops more than 1800 institutions. He has developed a diagnostic testing system to obtain a rich and descriptive understanding of a person’s Multiple Intelligences Analysis Tool. Mr. Chhatwal is a visiting faculty member to 36 universities across Asia, Australia and North America. He is involved with Stanford University and V Campus, Singapore for an off shore Holiday Camp for Gifted Children. Mr. Chhatwal was an entrepreneur in the areas of Travel and Hospitality industry from 1988 to 2001. He used to run 42 boutique hotels in Himalayas and travel company in name and style Amenity Holidays (P) Ltd In 1998 he was honored to promote Educational Tourism amongst young youth by World Tourism Organization.  He was also an entrepreneur in the areas of beauty and wellness, fashion, retail and security. Presently Mr. Chhatwal is a promoter/Managing Director of Education for Employment Foundation.

John Kerr is former CEO of the Edexcel Foundation. John trained as a lawyer and held senior positions with the London Stock Exchange and FSA before his career in education. At the Edge Foundation John sponsored 3 city academies and commissioned the Edge Hotel School. John is advisor and strategy consultant for a number of government agencies and private education bodies in UK and internationally. John chairs the new awarding body UKAA which aims to fully utilize new technologies to provide a customized and personal assessment solutions.

Dolly Chhatwal is an active member of Delhi Commonwealth Association and Delhi Ikebana. Lions International recognized her community service contribution with Melvin Jones Fellow (MJF) Award in the year 1996. Mrs. Chhatwal is actively involved through her work in the area of health-care in the slums of Delhi. She is a on the advisory board of Guru Harkrishan Public School, managed and run by Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee.  She was running a beauty and wellness boutique parlors in 42 cities across India from 1984 to 1999.

Jeff Ross is an Independent Prince II project manager whose fields of expertise include e-Assessment, e-learning and the use of IT and internet technologies in the education, training and human development fields. His background is in IT, education, publishing, logistics and business operations. Jeff is a founding Board Member of the e-Assessment Association and an Advisor to organizations in the UK and South Asia on e-Assessment design, procurement, and implementation.

Tejpaal Bhatia after completion of his article ship in 1978, joined J.K. Synthetics Ltd and worked for five years. Thereafter he joined Parasrampuria Synthetics Ltd, with a single product company with a project outlay of Rs 5 Crores, but during his stint of thirteen years with Parasrampuria Synthetics Ltd, he assisted them to make it a multi-product and multi- location corporate group with a capital outlay of rupees 1500 Crore with plants at Rajasthan , MP , UP and Nagpur (Maharashtra). His area pf specialization is generating fund through banks, FDI, raising equity and debt from public through IPOs, rights issue and private placement.

Our Team

Komal Anand has been a teacher since 1988, for primary students. Seeing her passion and interaction with young minds she was promoted as the coordinator and then the Head of Junior Wing, Vivek High School Chandigarh. After 15 wonderful and learning years she joined Yadavindra Public School, Mohali as the Head of Junior School.  Her focus was to upgrade the overall teaching philosophy and practices of the school and focus on empowering the students and their holistic development. She also started the Kindergarten Wing at YPS. She achieved success in her mission.  She is presently engaged with teachers on sharing best teaching practices. She has also authored a text book in English published by Orient Longman (now Orient Blackswan).  She was a member of an Exchange between Punjab educators and Shropshire County, England.

Nicola Phipps, is a former BBC journalist who runs her own media and training consultancy in the UK. She has a distinguished track record in journalism, media training and educational innovation as well as close associations with UK journalism’s leading training and accreditation body, the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) for whom she is an examiner. She has designed and delivered bespoke vocational training programmes in India, China and Africa as well as creating the award-winning “Classroom in the Newsroom” in the UK.

Kamal K Bhalla, has a rich and varied experience gained in the last 45 years in marketing with an expertise to establish start-up companies. He is a team player, ability to seize any initiative to originate action and to generate high activity levels. His highquality decisions through working closely with team members, gathering and evaluating all relevant data and reaching unbiased logical conclusion. His persevere with task until it is accomplished irrespective of obstacles. Kamal is able to train and motivate successful team, able to recognize and anticipate commercial and technical requirements and deal with risk situations. He can prioritize activities on the marketing road-map, on how to maintain a competitive advantage in the market. His ability to plan and deliver breakthrough programs and campaigns in line with the organization’s goals. Kamal has the ability to provide the Management with information on regular basis relating to marketing activities, performance vis-à-vis planning & execution and other market related information.

Jon Munt – Director, UK Skills Ltd and Founder/Director of SchoolVUE and Covue’s Education Services providing outstanding support and advice for our education customers in the variety of areas. A former Maths Advanced Skills Teacher and School Leader, Jon has immense experience and understanding of school leadership, curriculum, assessment and teaching, and a proven track record of designing, implementing and managing cutting edge technology and data services for Education.

Ms Ruchi Mishra is a qualified a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) social work from Delhi University, Masters of Arts in Sociology from Himachal University, PGDMIRPM from Bhartiya Vidhya Bhavan, PGDM in Guidance and counselling from Delhi University. She started her career as a Medical Social Worker in the Department of Surgery, in the last 15 years of her professional journey, Ruchi has handled large projects at UNDP, UNHCR and various other projects sponsored by Government. Currently, she is responsible for new projects and sales at EEF.
